Our story

Elevate Diagnostics began with a simple intention: to do things properly. We’ve seen too many homeowners and tenants left with conflicting opinions or pushed toward treatments that don’t address the real issue, and we believe people deserve better.
That belief shapes everything we do. We build our work around independence, evidence and technical accuracy, taking the time to investigate thoroughly and explain our findings clearly. When something affects the health or comfort of a home, people deserve clarity — not assumptions, shortcuts or guesswork.
This work is personal to us. Everyone should have access to clear explanations, reliable information and a genuinely supportive approach that helps them feel confident their home is safe and healthy.
Every survey is carried out with care, clarity and a commitment to doing what’s right. Homes stay healthier when issues are understood properly.

What we do
We are an independent specialist surveying practice, combining RPSA Technical Membership, UKTA‑certified thermography, ScanTherm Applied Building training, and ABBE‑regulated moisture diagnostics to deliver clear, evidence‑based building investigations and reporting.
We specialise in identifying the causes of:
- Damp
- Mould
- Condensation
- Heat loss and cold spots
Our investigations focus on understanding the factors that affect the health, comfort and performance of a home, giving you a clear picture of what’s happening and why.
Dedicated survey types

We offer a range of surveys tailored to different situations and property needs:
- Homeowner Damp, Mould & Heat‑Loss Surveys
- Tenant Damp & Mould Surveys
- Landlord Damp & Mould Surveys
- Social Housing & Awaab’s Law Compliance Surveys
- Pre‑purchase damp, mould and heat‑loss assessments
Each survey follows a structured process designed to identify the underlying issues affecting a home’s condition and comfort.
Guided by Best Practice
Our approach follows recognised guidance that supports safe, accurate and consistent investigation. We align our work with:
BS 5250 – Managing moisture in buildings
RICS Joint Position Statement – Moisture investigation in traditional buildings
Awaab’s Law – Emphasising timely, health‑centred assessment
As an RPSA Technical Member, our work is carried out in line with independent surveying standards and evidence‑based practice. Our Awaab’s Law training is endorsed by Birmingham City University.
Thermography Expertise
Thermal imaging is a key part of our diagnostic approach.
We hold full professional membership with the UK Thermography Association (UKTA) and have completed UKTA‑approved Applied Building Thermography training through ScanTherm School of Thermography.
This ensures our thermographic assessments are carried out competently, safely and in line with recognised industry standards.
Technology & Tools
We use advanced, non‑invasive equipment to support accurate diagnostics, including:
- Thermal imaging cameras
- Moisture meters
- Hygrometers, anemometers and environmental sensors
- Borescopes for internal voids and hard‑to‑reach areas
- Drones for safe external inspections
We are registered with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) for compliant drone operations.
Professional Standards & Accreditation
Our work is underpinned by formal, regulated training and recognised industry standards.
Regulated Qualifications
We are qualified with the ABBE Level 3 Award in Damp, Mould and Condensation in Buildings — an Ofqual‑regulated, government‑endorsed certification delivered by the Environment Study Centre.
